About Robert L. Baker, Jr.-

Robert L. Baker, Jr. earned his undergraduate degree from Fairfield University, and his Juris Doctorate from Villanova University School of Law.  While attending Fairfield University, Mr. Baker interned at the District of Columbia Corporation Counsel, as well as at a private law firm.    In addition, Mr. Baker was a Dean’s List student, as well as a member of the student government.  During law school, Mr. Baker gained vast experience at Pepper Hamilton, LLP in Philadelphia, PA and at  the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office in Hammonton, NJ.  He was the recipient of a Dean’s Merit Scholarship, a member of the National Trial Team, and a Member of the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.

After earning admission to the New York and New Jersey Bars, Robert began his career as an Assistant District Attorney with the Bronx County DIstrict Attorney’s Office, Bronx County, NY.  During his tenure at the District Attorney’s Office, he prosecuted cases of child abuse and sexual offenses.

After prosecuting hundreds of cases in the Bronx, Mr. Baker decided to return to his home state of New Jersey.  Upon his return, he founded The Law Office of Robert L. Baker, Jr.  His goal was to provide individualized, quality legal services at competitive prices.  Mr. Baker’s clients work with him directly, not with a legal secretary or paralegal.
